Sponsorship Development Services - RFP

The City of Conway, South Carolina, is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide sponsorship development services. The selected firm will help the City identify, package, market, and secure sponsorships and partnership revenue for City events, programs, and assets. Key responsibilities of the selected firm include: * Developing a comprehensive sponsorship and partnership strategy * Identifying, creating, and valuing sponsorship assets * Creating high-quality sponsorship packages and marketing materials * Active sales, outreach, and solicitation of sponsors * Managing and stewarding sponsor relationships * Coordinating with City staff to ensure brand alignment and consistency The City is looking for a firm with experience in sponsorship development or comparable services, and the ability to secure sponsorships, manage stakeholder relationships, and achieve measurable results. The proposal should include: * Experience and qualifications of the firm and key personnel * Approach and understanding of the City's objectives, target audiences, and sponsorship goals * Revenue sharing scheme and compensation structure * References for similar projects performed in the past three to five years Proposals must be submitted by Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm, to the City of Conway, c/o Amanda Hooper, PO Drawer 1075, Conway, SC 29528. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and formalities in proposals. The evaluation criteria for the proposals include: * Experience and qualifications (30%) * Approach and understanding (30%) * Revenue sharing scheme (20%) * References (20%) The City is looking for a firm that can provide a comprehensive sponsorship development service, and the selected firm will be required to assume responsibility for all services offered under the proposal. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified firm, and the City reserves the right to negotiate the terms of the contract.
