RFP Financial Audit Services

The City of Sherwood is seeking a qualified independent certified public accounting firm to perform the annual audit of the financial statements of the City and the City's URA for the year ending June 30, 2026. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting the audit in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and providing a comprehensive report on the City's financial statements. • The audit will include an examination of the City's financial statements, including the balance sheet, statement of revenues and expenditures, and statement of cash flows. • The selected firm will be required to have experience in auditing local governments and to be familiar with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) principles. • The audit will be conducted in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) auditing standards. • The selected firm will be required to provide a comprehensive report on the City's financial statements, including any findings or recommendations for improvement. • The City is seeking a firm that can provide high-quality audit services, has experience in auditing local governments, and can meet the City's deadlines for completion of the audit.
