Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for unarmed security guard services at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans, LA. The contract will provide licensed, unarmed security guards (including a supervisory lead guard) on a 24 × 7 basis across multiple locations within the facility, covering a base year (Dec 2026 – Dec 2027) with up to four one‑year options. The solicitation is a source‑sought (RFI) and is set‑aside for Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Respondents must submit capability statements (including UEI) by 13:00 CST on 4 Nov 2026. No proposals or pricing are requested at this stage.
• Licensure: Contractor must hold a valid Louisiana security‑guard license and meet extensive training, health, and background requirements.
