Description
The Library of Congress is seeking an IDIQ contractor to provide comprehensive laundry and linen services for its Events Office in Washington, D.C. The work includes weekly pickup, cleaning, inventory control, and delivery of uniforms, table linens, skirts, felt pads, curtains, and other event‑related textiles, as well as optional expedited service. The contractor must operate its own processing facility, maintain strict quality standards, and comply with Capitol Hill security and vehicle requirements. This IDIQ will cover a base year with up to four one‑year options, allowing multiple orders up to $175,000 each.
• Provide pickup, laundering, and delivery of Government‑owned uniforms and event textiles on a weekly schedule (Wednesday/Thursday).
• Maintain inventory accountability, quality control, and documentation for each transaction; submit monthly electronic reports.
• Meet stringent delivery windows (08:00‑15:00), vehicle clearance specs, and security screening for Capitol Hill access.
• Offer both standard (≤5 business days) and expedited (≤3 business days) turnaround, with no surcharges unless pre‑approved.
• Must be a HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, or EDWOSB small business as required by the set‑aside.
