Chapel Hill Independent School District (CHISD) is seeking a qualified commercial roofing contractor to completely replace the existing roof on the Bloodsworth Gym at Chapel Hill High School. The contract includes full tear‑off, disposal, deck repair, installation of a GAF 60‑mil TPO membrane (or approved equal) with RhinoBond attachment, new gutters and downspouts, edge metal, flashings, and a five‑year preventative‑maintenance program with bi‑annual inspections. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, warranties (20‑25 year manufacturer warranty and 5‑year workmanship warranty), and cleanup, and must comply with OSHA, local codes, and district safety/security requirements. A mandatory pre‑bid walk‑through is scheduled for 10/13/2026. Bids are due electronically by 10/29/2026. • Scope: full roof replacement (~12,142 sf flat roof) including deck repair, insulation, cover board, TPO membrane, gutters/downspouts, edge metal, flashings, and accessories. • Mandatory pre‑bid site walk‑through on 10/13/2026 (9 AM CST). • Required warranties: 20‑25 yr NDL manufacturer warranty; 5‑yr workmanship warranty; 5‑yr preventive‑maintenance program. • Evaluation criteria: price (30 %), qualifications (25 %), past CHISD relationship (25 %), experience/references (20 %). • Bonds/insurance: performance bond (> $100k), payment bond (> $25k), general liability, workers’ comp, etc. • Award expected 11/17/2026; work to commence shortly after notice to proceed.
