Description
The VA is conducting market research for the replacement of three steam sterilizers at the Harlingen Healthcare Center. The effort will include removal of existing units, delivery, installation, commissioning, validation, and training of two VA BioMed Technicians, with a 120‑day completion window after award. The contractor must comply with VA, AAMI, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards, provide 24/7 service support, and supply full documentation and warranties.
• Remove and dispose of three existing sterilizers following VA lockout/tagout procedures.
• Deliver, install, and commission three new pre‑vacuum steam sterilizers (26.5"x26.5"x51") with integrated 45 kW generators and 480 V power.
• Perform validation per ANSI/AAMI ST79/ST108, provide training for two VA technicians, and submit delivery manifest and service report for payment.
