Soil and Water Conservation District Training

The New Mexico State University (NMSU) seeks a qualified vendor to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training services for the state’s 47 Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs). The work includes creating a training‑program system, producing curriculum and educational materials, providing core statutory and operational training, and delivering specialized technical sessions on topics such as natural‑resource management, regulatory compliance, grant writing, and district operations. The contract runs from July 1 2026 through June 30 2027 with a ceiling of $1 million. Proposals must be submitted online by May 29 2026, and the contractor will coordinate monthly meetings with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and submit interim and final reports. • Develop a statewide training‑program system and curriculum (including handbooks, videos, online modules). • Deliver core and specialized training (in‑person or virtual) covering statutes, operations, technical planning, and natural‑resource management. • Provide monthly coordination meetings, interim and final reports, and maintain ongoing communication with NMDA throughout the FY 2027 performance period.
