WRF Digester Exterior Coating and Insulation Replacement

This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to replace the deteriorated foam exterior coating and insulation on two primary anaerobic digesters and one secondary digester at the Rapid City Water Reclamation Facility. The work includes complete removal of existing spray‑foam insulation, surface preparation of steel and iron piping (including sandblasting), application of protective coating per specification 09 96 00, and installation of a new spray‑foam insulation system meeting a minimum R‑35 rating (≈6 inches). Contractors must coordinate sequencing to minimize digester downtime, manage temporary shutdowns if required, safely work around an operational waste‑gas flare, and dispose of demolition debris in compliance with state and local regulations.
