Description

The Vermont Army National Guard is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of supplying up to six KIWI Pack LUXE World Cup Biathlon Laser Product systems or suitable equivalent systems. The system must meet or exceed the following physical, optical, and operational standards: safety classification, construction and materials, ergonomics and finesse adjustments, operational realism, and power and logic control. The system accessories and ancillary gear must include a KIWI CAR10 Laser Rifle, a CTOR10 Laser Target, a 12V/2A AC Battery Charger, an RF Remote Control, a Universal Blinder, a Biathlon Cuff and Hand-Stop Sling Pack, a Dual-Shoulder Biathlon Carrying Harness, and a Heavy-Duty Fitted Carrying Case. Interested organizations are invited to submit a comprehensive Capability Statement, including technical description, lead time, and corporate information. • The system must feature an integrated, eye-safe Class 1 Laser with a power consumption optimized to run on a single standard AAA battery. • The system must include a physical trigger block with a realistic mechanical "hard point" let-off and a physical reloading mechanism that simulates standard bolt action. • The system must feature a mock magazine well supporting simulation of magazine insertion and ejection. • The system must be equipped with a real small-bore target diopter and a real small-bore tunnel to replicate Olympic-style live-fire sights. • The system must feature smart-logic automated "wake-up" and "sleep" modes to conserve battery when inactive.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate because the document does not provide a specific budget or pricing information. However, considering the complexity and specialized nature of the KIWI Pack LUXE World Cup Biathlon Laser Product system, the budget could be substantial. A rough estimate could be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000, depending on the number of systems supplied and the pricing of each system. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the cost of materials, manufacturing, and research and development, as well as the profit margins of the supplier.
