Transportation Services - Additional Secondary Provider

The County of Moore is seeking proposals for transportation services to provide non-emergency Medicaid transportation to eligible clients. The contractor will be responsible for providing transportation to and from medical appointments, including same-day hospital discharges. The contractor must be able to provide transportation services five days a week, Monday through Friday, and have a wheelchair van available for same-day hospital discharges. The contractor must also comply with all applicable federal laws, policies, and standards. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing non-emergency Medicaid transportation to eligible clients • Transporting clients to and from medical appointments, including same-day hospital discharges • Having a wheelchair van available for same-day hospital discharges • Complying with all applicable federal laws, policies, and standards • Maintaining records for at least three years for audit purposes • Participating in a random alcohol and drug testing program • Providing updated copies of drivers' licenses with any change in status or expiration
