Salvage Vehicles

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is soliciting a revenue-generating contract for the recycling of salvage title vehicles. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and providing commodities and services in compliance with all requirements of the contract on a no-minimum, as-needed, as-requested basis. The contract term commences on the effective date stated in the signing document and expires 5 years from that effective date. • The contractor must submit proposed pricing on the Mandatory Pricing Schedule, which includes all costs, fees, licenses, and expenses for the contractor's delivery and performance of the commodities or services requested. • The contractor must provide evidence of its financial resources and ability to provide the commodities or perform the services for which it is submitting a response. • The contractor must acquire and maintain insurance coverage necessary to ensure the contract's proper performance and cover any potential liabilities. • The contractor's personnel must submit to a fingerprint-based Criminal History Background Investigation, if required by DPS.
