FY27 LOI Workforce

The Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) is seeking qualified independent‑contract instructors to deliver a variety of professional‑development and technical training services for its Division of Workforce Partnerships. The work is on‑demand, ranging from one‑hour sessions to multi‑month projects, delivered at CCRI campuses or client sites. Vendors must demonstrate at least five years of experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent certification), and relevant industry certifications; they must operate as independent contractors, handle their own taxes, insurance, and background checks, and be able to supply qualified staff on short notice. • Instructional services in leadership, soft‑skills, IT, manufacturing, and other corporate‑training topics. • Contracts awarded on a continuous‑recruitment basis, with an initial 12‑month term (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027) and up to four optional one‑year renewals. • Payment is hourly, per‑diem, or per‑project at rates “commensurate with education and experience,” with vendors covering their own travel and tax obligations.
