Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is conducting market research to assess the feasibility of a future multi‑year contract for full‑line fresh fruit and vegetable (FF&V) supply to Department of War (DoW) troop installations and USDA school nutrition programs throughout Ohio. Vendors are asked to review the market basket, delivery schedule, and customer list, then complete and return a Market Research Survey by the response deadline. No solicitation, pricing, or award commitment exists at this time; the RFI is solely for data gathering to shape a later solicitation.
• Scope: Supply the full range of fresh produce items to all listed Ohio troop and school customers, using DLA’s electronic ordering systems (FFAVORS Web for schools and STORES EDI for troops).
• Requirements: Ability to support both web‑based and EDI ordering, maintain two‑decimal pricing, use government‑provided item descriptions, and meet specified EDI transaction sets (810, 820, 832, 850, 861, 997).
• Timeline: Responses due by 3:00 PM EST, 30 Oct 2026. The anticipated contract would have a 24‑month base period with a possible 5‑year term and a ceiling up to $176 M.
