Description
The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive two‑year service agreement for its Waters Acquity TQD LC‑MS system used in the Toxicology Laboratory. The contract will commence on November 1 2026 and run through October 31 2028, covering preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, parts replacement, software/firmware updates, and unlimited technical support. The agreement must include a 72‑hour response time, labor and travel, genuine OEM parts, and one preventive maintenance visit per year. Bids are to be submitted electronically via Maryland Marketplace by October 26 2026, 12:00 PM. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Service period: 11/1/2026 – 10/31/2028 (24 months)
• Scope: inspection, seal/piston replacement, valve checks, diagnostics, software/firmware upgrades, unlimited support calls, OEM parts, travel & labor included
• Required response time: ≤ 72 hours for service calls
• One preventive maintenance visit per 12‑month period (minimum two visits)
• Delivery of service under a fixed‑price contract; no small‑business set‑aside
• Submission via Maryland Marketplace; bid board notice attached; no pre‑bid meeting or site visit required
• Award based on lowest cost meeting all technical requirements.
