Description
The Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking competitive quotes from qualified contractors to stain, repair, and reinstall wooden pavilions at four county parks (Bogan, George Pierce, Pinckneyville, and Holcomb Bridge). The scope includes removal of damaged wood, replacement of fascia, joists, or structural beams, pressure‑washing, staining of new and existing wood, debris disposal per EPA regulations, and site cleanup. Work must start in November 2026 and be fully completed by December 1 2026. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, tools, and necessary safety measures, and must hold required insurance (CGL $2 M, Auto $1 M, Workers’ Comp, etc.) and be licensed in Georgia. A minimum of three references for similar projects is required. No pre‑bid conference is scheduled, but site visits are encouraged. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible quote.
