Description
The County seeks a qualified contractor to provide annual grounds‑maintenance services for Department of Water Resources facilities throughout Gwinnett County. Services include mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, pine‑straw installation, weed control, shrub and tree pruning, seasonal flower‑bed installations, trash removal, and scheduled chemical applications. The contract is a one‑year base term with up to four optional one‑year renewals, and the contractor must hold Georgia pesticide applicator licenses, meet insurance requirements, and submit extensive documentation.
• Core work: weekly (April‑Oct) and monthly (Nov‑Mar) mowing/maintenance at six large water‑treatment sites plus bi‑weekly/monthly visits to ~250 smaller pump‑station sites.
• Mandatory licensing: GA Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator (Category 24) and Certified Landscape Professional.
