Mecklenburg County is seeking proposals from vision insurance carriers to provide coverage for its employee group (approximately 6,200 eligible employees, 4,700 currently enrolled) for the 2028 plan year. The solicitation requires carriers to match the existing plan design, present any alternative recommendations, and include a four‑year rate guarantee, implementation credit, and detailed GeoAccess/disruption reporting. Multiple network options should be presented if available.
