The County of Gwinnett is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑demand demolition of existing synthetic‑turf fields and installation of new dual‑fiber turf systems, goal‑systems, and related site‑work on a multi‑year basis. The work includes laser grading, drainage correction, stone‑base preparation, installation of turf, infill, field markings, goal‑post systems, testing, and a comprehensive warranty program. The contract runs for an initial year (2027) with automatic annual renewals up to a total of three years, and includes strict bonding, insurance, and performance requirements.
• Core scope: demolition, site‑prep, and full installation of synthetic‑turf fields (minimum two fields per year) plus goal‑system installation and field markings.
• Mandatory qualifications: ≥ 3 public‑agency turf installations, ASBA Certified Field Builder, ability to post a 5 % bid bond and $1.5 M performance/labor bonds, and provide extensive insurance coverage (GL $2 M, umbrella up to $5 M, etc.).
