TO PROVIDE MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT, MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, SYSTEM ENHANCEME

The Jefferson Parish is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide management, support, maintenance, service, system enhancements, and equipment procurement for all aspects and components of the Parish's Motorola P25 800 MHz radio system and subscriber units. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive services in three key areas: Radio System Support, Maintenance & Management, Subscriber Unit Support, and Procurement Services. The vendor will also be required to provide special projects, such as emergency replacement parts, emergency response, reports/records, FCC licensing assistance, installation/removals, annual evaluations, tower inspections, and support for system upgrades. Key aspects of the project include: • Annual Preventive Maintenance Inspections of system infrastructure and subscriber units • Regularly scheduled site inspections, alarm monitoring, system backups, and reporting • Support for dispatch consoles, logging equipment, telephone interconnect, microwave links, Ethernet connections, network equipment, firewalls, and other pertinent infrastructure equipment • Installation of mobile radios, data terminals, and related equipment in vehicles and facilities • Provision of Motorola APC catalog items and accessories at a discounted percentage off the list price • Programming and licensing for subscriber radios • Warranty of installations and equipment The proposal should include a technical proposal, price proposal, and other required documents, such as a corporate resolution, evidence of authority, and affidavits.
