Mobile Video Security Systems for CyRide Buses

The City of Ames is seeking proposals for the purchase and installation of mobile video security systems for CyRide buses. The initial contract period will be from the date of award through December 31, 2026, with the option of four additional 12-month renewal periods. The proposal should include the purchase and installation of mobile video security systems, with a minimum of 14 days of video retention on each bus. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and make awards that are in the best interest of the city. Some key requirements of the proposal include: • Minimum 14 days of video retention on each bus • DVR shall be able to store at least 252 hours of video • Removal of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Third-Party Video Management System (VMS) requirements • Compliance with federal terms and fillable forms • Submission of proposal response form, federal clauses, and proposal documentation
