Pure Water Ontario Advanced Water Purification Facility (UT1091)

The City of Ontario is seeking qualified engineering consulting firms to produce a Preliminary Design Report (PDR) for the Pure Water Ontario Advanced Water Purification Facility. The scope includes project management, QA/QC, 30% construction‑level engineering plans, regulatory permitting support, USBR Title XVI grant assistance, and optional pilot‑plant design. The effort is time‑and‑material with a “not‑to‑exceed” fee and requires extensive experience in water‑treatment design, California regulatory compliance, and public‑works contracting. • Deliver a 30% construction‑level PDR covering membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, UV/AOP, and injection well design for up to 4,500 acre‑feet/yr of purified water. • Provide ongoing project management, bi‑weekly reporting, and coordination with agencies (IEUA, State Water Resources Control Board, etc.). • Support the City’s USBR Title XVI grant application and compliance reporting, with optional pilot‑plant design if needed.
