A/E RFQ - Ballistic Aero-Optics and Materials Range Phase 2 - Bryan, Texas

The Texas A&M University System is soliciting statements of qualifications for the selection of an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm for the Ballistic Aero-Optics and Materials Range Phase 2 project at the RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas. The project involves the expansion of the existing range to extend its aero-optics capability beyond 1000m and its hypersonic capability beyond 500m. The planning amount for the project is $70,605,000. The selected firm will be responsible for designing the new "Tail Building" and at least two additional test buildings. • The project requires the expansion of the existing range to achieve more capability. • The new "Tail Building" will house the relocated Laser Firing Tank and the final sections of the recovery/deceleration tube. • The project includes the design of at least two additional test buildings aligned with test sections. • The planning amount for the project is $70,605,000, which includes an Amount Available for Construction Contract (AACC) of $17,129,803.
