Audio System Upgrade for Meymandi Concert Hall

The City of Raleigh is seeking a qualified and experienced vendor to provide and install audio equipment and related support services in Meymandi Concert Hall. The scope of work includes the installation of a public address system, amplifiers, monitors, digital console system, and other audio equipment. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to complete the project. The project is expected to begin on June 1, 2026, and be completed by September 30, 2026. • The project requires the installation of a public address system with a full left-right system, subwoofer configuration, mono-center flexibility, and sound pressure level of 120 dB at the front of house position. • The contractor must provide eight professional-grade Dante-enabled active monitors, six active "hotspot" style monitors, and two sets of active subwoofers and side fills. • The contractor must supply a new digital mixing console with Dante capability, a matching monitor console, and at least eight matching stage boxes. • The contractor must provide a small-format digital console with Dante, stage box, and road case for lobby audio control. • The contractor must ensure that all equipment is compatible with sequencer-based power control and has remote network control for muting, unmuting, and monitoring.
