RFP for Worker's Compensation Administration for the City of Cambridge FY27-29

The City of Cambridge is seeking a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to manage its workers' compensation and injury leave programs. The TPA will be responsible for claims administration, utilization review, medical bill re-pricing and payment, reporting, and record-keeping. The TPA will also provide guidance to the City on workers' compensation matters and assist in obtaining ancillary services such as legal services, surveillance, and vocational rehabilitation. The contract term is FY27-29, and the City reserves the right to extend the contract at its discretion. • The TPA must have experience in administering workers' compensation claims for Massachusetts municipalities. • The TPA must have a comprehensive electronic claims and case management system. • The TPA must provide timely and accurate information and reports to the City. • The TPA must have a dedicated claims management team with experienced claims professionals and nurse case managers. • The TPA must be able to provide loss runs, financial reports, and customized management reports.
