Security Services for Murphy Center & Athletic Events

The Middle Tennessee State University is seeking bids for security services for the Murphy Center and athletic events. The contract will be for a period of approximately one year, with three options to extend for a period of twelve months each. The successful bidder will be required to provide trained personnel capable of serving in the role of security guards, ticket takers, ushers, operate/manage/control weapon detectors, and elevator operators. The bidder should have at least five years of continuous experience in providing event security and crowd management services for events comparable to those held in Floyd Stadium and Murphy Center. • The contract will include events at Floyd Stadium, Murphy Center, and other facilities. • The bidder will be required to provide a breakdown of each employee's compensation and manager or supervisor required from the ratio. • The bidder will be required to provide pricing for four different event scenarios: small, medium, large, and an additional event scenario. • The university will provide spaces at different areas in facilities to operate during events and can also provide a storage space to store some items, if needed. • The contractor will be expected to maintain a commercial general liability policy naming both the contractor and the institution as additional insureds.
