The South Bay Union School District is seeking qualified general‑engineering contractors to demolish existing playground surfacing at six elementary schools, install a new Class 2 concrete base, apply poured‑in‑place (PIP) rubber surfacing, and repaint existing structures. The work must comply with California prevailing‑wage rules, require a California DIR‑registered contractor (License A), and involve performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price.
