Custodial Services

The Housing Authority of the City of Omaha (OHA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide custodial services. The services will involve daily and weekly cleaning of various buildings, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. The contractor will also be responsible for inspecting all in-scope areas, photographing and reporting any maintenance, safety, or other problems, and recommending additional cleaning services as needed. The contract is expected to involve multiple locations, including the Tower Location, Alamo Apartments, Cherry Tree Apartments, Farnam Building, and Historic Library Building. • Daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing high-touch surfaces • Weekly cleaning tasks: cleaning building entry glass, checking and emptying trash cans, cleaning glass surfaces, cleaning tabletops and counters • Inspection and reporting of maintenance, safety, or other problems • Recommendation of additional cleaning services as needed • Multiple locations involved, including residential and commercial buildings
