EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE SERVICES

The Knox County Procurement Division is seeking proposals for the provision of Employee Assistance Services. The successful proposer will provide services that meet the specifications and are in the best interest of Knox County. The contract will be for a period of three years with the option to renew for an additional two years. Proposers must submit their proposals in a sealed envelope by 2:00 p.m. on April 29, 2024. Some key aspects of the proposal include: • The provision of Employee Assistance Services as specified in the solicitation document • Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Maintenance of all books, documents, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to the goods and services provided under the contract • Protection of Knox County from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the proposer's actions or omissions • Adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract, including those related to payment, termination, and dispute resolution • Compliance with HIPAA regulations and standards for the transmission of health information in electronic form • Cooperation with Knox County in the event of a security incident or breach of protected health information • Provision of services that are free from defects and conform to the specifications, drawings, solicitation, and other descriptions furnished or incorporated by reference. Some key evaluation criteria include: • Best Value, which considers factors such as initial cost, features included, customer service, and other factors detailed in the solicitation document • Responsiveness and responsibility of the proposer • Ability to meet the specifications and provide services that are in the best interest of Knox County • Proposer's experience, qualifications, and past performance • Proposer's ability to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
