The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC), administered by the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, is seeking a qualified architect/engineer firm to design, oversee, and manage the replacement and refurbishment of roofs at the Pickaway Correctional Institution. The scope includes site surveys, development of program requirements, schematic through construction‑document design, cost estimating, bid support, and on‑site construction administration (minimum 8 hours/week). The project covers multiple dormitory and ancillary building roofs totaling roughly 300,000 sf, with a construction budget of $5.1 M and a design fee of about 8.5‑9 % of construction costs. The firm must be a registered design professional in Ohio, possess experience with correctional facilities, and demonstrate BIM and LEED capabilities, as well as participation in the EDGE diversity program. • Replace/recoat metal roofs on several dorms and buildings; replace flat roof on B Building. • Conduct comprehensive site investigations, develop program of requirements, and produce full design and construction‑admin services. • Provide on‑site construction administration ≥ 8 hours/week, post‑construction closeout, and optional hazardous‑material surveys.
