The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge is seeking qualified architectural, landscape architectural, and engineering firms to provide professional services for various capital improvement projects throughout the parish. The selected firms will be responsible for planning, design, construction documentation, bidding/award assistance, and construction administration. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the possibility of extension. The scope of work includes new, renovated, or repurposed recreation centers, maintenance buildings, athletic/sports facilities, greenway trails, community parks, neighborhood parks, conservation areas, cultural/historic areas, support areas, parking, fishing areas, and improvements to special use facilities. The firms will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and ability to perform the services described in the RFQ. • The RFQ includes a detailed description of the scope of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria. • The selected firms will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project. • The firms will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, and ability to perform the services described in the RFQ. • The contract will include provisions for payment, termination, and dispute resolution. • The firms will be required to provide certificates of insurance and to maintain insurance coverage throughout the duration of the contract.
