International Representation for Canada

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is seeking a company to provide international representation for Canada. The selected company will be responsible for creating awareness, demand, and a sense of urgency in booking Las Vegas as the preferred international destination for leisure travelers. The scope of work includes representation and management of the account, market and relationship development, sales, public relations, and travel trade. The company will be required to provide monthly reports, attend regular meetings, and participate in planning and development sessions. • Key responsibilities include: developing and maintaining strong relationships with travel distribution channels, consumer and travel trade media, and embassies; assisting with educational programs, trade shows, and sales missions; and providing market intelligence and supporting advertising efforts. • The company will be required to have a minimum of two dedicated full-time public relations representatives and two dedicated full-time travel trade account representatives. • The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods. • The company will be paid a fixed monthly administration fee, as well as reimbursable expenses for approved marketing activities.
