PERA Executive Director Position

The Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide executive recruitment services to fill the Executive Director position. The selected responder will be expected to complete various deliverables, including meeting with the Board of Trustees, developing a communication strategy, and conducting a thorough search for candidates. The contract is anticipated to start in April 2026 and last for approximately 11 months, with the option to extend for up to an additional year. Key aspects of the job include: * Meeting with representatives from the Board of Trustees to gather input regarding ideal candidates for the position * Developing a position profile and recruitment brochure * Conducting a thorough search (regionally and nationally) through appropriate advertising, outreach, and professional networks * Facilitating and communicating the application process * Providing a diverse and qualified candidate pool of no more than 10 candidates to the Board of Trustees and the Human Resources Director
