Description
The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government is seeking contractors to perform right‑of‑way (ROW) clearing and tree trimming along existing power line corridors. The work includes removing vegetation, pruning or removing trees that encroach on the utility easement, and ensuring a safe clearance distance for overhead lines. The contractor must comply with local, state, and utility safety standards and provide documentation of completed work.
• Scope: Clear and trim vegetation/trees within the power line right‑of‑way to meet clearance specifications.
• Deliverables: Site clearance reports, photographs, and certification of compliance.
• Requirements: Licensed contractors with experience in utility ROW work, possession of necessary equipment (chainsaws, brush cutters, haul trucks), and ability to work safely in proximity to live power lines.
