Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a vendor to provide continuous monitoring of the obstruction lights on a tower at the State EMA building in Clanton, AL for fiscal year 2027/2028. The vendor must supply and maintain monitoring equipment (which remains property of the vendor), generate daily operation reports, and issue immediate notifications of any failures, including filing FAA NOTAMs within 30 minutes. Quarterly on‑site testing is required to manually simulate failures and verify system functionality, and an annual visual inspection of the lighting hardware must be performed either by climbing the tower or using a drone. The State will provide on‑site internet connectivity; all other equipment and labor are vendor‑provided. The contract value is limited to $25 000 under the Quick Quote ceiling.
