The Cherokee Nation Housing Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to perform electrical and HVAC rehabilitation on a single historic residence in Nowata County, OK. The work must be completed in four working days after the Notice to Proceed, with a start required within two weeks of award notification, otherwise a $100 per day liquidated‑damage fee applies. Bidders must submit a mandatory bid response, provide TERO certification for Indian preference, and meet HUD Davis‑Bacon wage requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with 100 % payment upon successful completion and acceptance.
• Replace the existing 150 A main service with a new 200 A service and install 18 branch breakers.
• Install a 2.5‑ton, 14‑15 SEER gas‑heated HVAC package unit, including full ductwork, electrical connections, and thermostat.
• Must comply with local building codes, HUD contract provisions, buy‑American requirements, and provide a one‑year warranty on labor and materials.
