Finished Compost Transportation Services

The Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority (IERCA) seeks a qualified transportation provider to haul finished compost from its processing facility to various customers within and beyond a 20‑mile radius. The contract is a fixed‑price, five‑year agreement with two optional one‑year extensions, requiring hourly labor rates, appropriate trucks, compliance with noise and safety regulations, and the ability to respond quickly to load requests. The contractor must maintain proper licensing, insurance, and prevailing‑wage compliance, and will be responsible for delivering approximately 3,000‑5,000 cubic yards of compost each month, with occasional longer‑distance hauls. • Provide drivers and appropriate trucks (side‑dump, end‑dump, belt, etc.) and keep vehicles empty upon entry/exit of the compost facility. • Meet strict scheduling, response, and inspection requirements, including 2‑hour response for normal‑hour inquiries and 4‑hour after‑hours response. • Maintain required insurance, workers’ compensation, and California DIR registration; adhere to noise‑control, safety, and environmental guidelines.
