This project involves a comprehensive upgrade of the City of Litchfield’s wastewater treatment facility, including new lift stations, pretreatment building, primary clarifiers, aeration system upgrades, new rapid mix and flocculation basins with chemical and electrical buildings, digester electrical building, and rehabilitation of existing anaerobic digesters and DAF/SAF systems. The scope encompasses civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and control system work, as well as demolition of outdated equipment and construction of new process equipment. • Construction of new influent lift station and utility water lift station. • Installation of a new pretreatment building with fine screening, vortex grit removal, and flow measurement. • Replacement of aeration piping, diffusers, and installation of new rapid‑mix, flocculation, and chemical buildings. • Rehabilitation of anaerobic digesters, addition of heat exchangers, sludge pumps, and jet mixing system. • Demolition of existing DAF equipment and construction of new SAF system, plus general site demolition and upgrades.
