Phase 15A Street Reconstruction

The City of The Colony is seeking a qualified contractor to reconstruct three major street corridors (Chapman St, Independence Dr, and Bartlett Pl) using reinforced concrete pavement, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer mains, traffic‑control, and associated site work. The work must be performed sequentially, with each street fully completed and demobilized before the next begins, and includes demolition, utility relocation, erosion control, landscaping, and final close‑out documentation. The contract is a fixed‑price, stipulated‑price agreement with a 400‑day schedule and a maintenance period of two years after final acceptance. • Approx. 16,200 SY of 6‑in. reinforced concrete street pavement and 40,000 SF of 4‑in. sidewalks. • Installation of ~4,400 LF of 8‑in. water line and ~3,400 LF of sanitary sewer (8‑in. & 18‑in.) with associated manholes, valves, and cleanouts. • Full traffic‑control plan, erosion‑control measures, utility protection, and post‑construction testing (density, concrete strength, TV inspection).
