RFQ Property Maintenance

The City of Elkhart is seeking a qualified vendor to provide ongoing lawn mowing, leaf mulching, and large‑item junk removal services for a portfolio of city‑owned vacant lots. The contractor must submit unit prices per mowing occurrence per lot and per junk‑removal occurrence, demonstrate ownership of appropriate equipment, and meet eligibility criteria including Section 3 preference if applicable. The contract runs through the end of 2026 and will be awarded at the May 6 Board of Public Works meeting. • Perform mowing up to twice per month on each lot, keeping vegetation under 8 in. and clearing debris before each service. • Provide per‑occurrence pricing for removal of bulky items (couches, tables, trash) and transport them to a landfill or recycling facility. • Submit a resume, equipment list, references, and all required pricing to the Clerk of the Board of Public Works by the May 6 deadline.
