The City of Montpelier is issuing an RFP to pre‑qualify and select a vendor for suction‑lift pump stations that will serve as the standard equipment for its eight wastewater collection pump stations. Vendors must submit detailed specifications, performance data, warranty information, and life‑cycle cost analyses for a duplex skid‑mounted pump system capable of handling 3‑inch solids at 230 gpm and 25 ft of head, including VFDs, SCADA monitoring options, and priming systems. The selection will be scored on cost, warranty, support, priming, references, solids handling, and emergency operation. The contract will likely be used for future pump‑station upgrades and must comply with Build America/Buy America and EPA State Revolving Fund requirements.
