The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is seeking a single full‑size, 4‑door sport‑utility vehicle (SUV) for statewide emergency‑response, equipment‑transport, and official travel. The vehicle must meet stringent performance, fuel‑flexibility, and durability requirements and be delivered ready for immediate use. The procurement is a small‑purchase, open‑market solicitation that allows electronic quoting.
• Engine: Minimum 350 HP, 8‑cylinder gasoline NA or 6‑cylinder turbo, Flexible‑Fuel (E85) and/or Hybrid‑Electric compliant with 30 ILCS 500/25‑75.
• Drivetrain: 4‑WD with electronic transfer case, 10‑speed automatic (or equivalent hybrid), 8,000 lb towing capacity, factory‑installed Class IV hitch and 7‑pin/4‑pin wiring harness.
• Interior/Exterior: Black or Silver, heavy‑duty removable rubber floor mats, factory spare tire/hoist, ABS with power‑boost, rear‑vision camera, Bluetooth/CarPlay connectivity.
• Delivery: Vendor must guarantee on‑time delivery, provide a defect‑free unit, and honor the manufacturer’s standard warranty beginning on the in‑service date. IDOT reserves the right to inspect and require remediation before final acceptance.
