Description
The VA is seeking a Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business to provide qualified, QEI‑certified inspectors to perform semi‑annual, annual, and five‑year full‑load elevator inspections and tests at two VA medical centers in upstate New York. The contractor must conduct inspections per ASME A17.1/A17.2, submit VA‑approved inspection reports, and be available for off‑hours testing during the fourth and fifth years. The contract includes a base year plus four optional one‑year extensions, with work primarily scheduled in April and October.
• Provide QEI‑certified inspectors to act as third‑party witnesses for all required elevator safety inspections and tests.
• Perform inspections at Canandaigua VA Medical Center (400 Fort Hill Ave) and Bath VA Medical Center (76 Veterans Ave) following ASME safety codes.
• Submit detailed inspection reports (VA Form 10‑6166) within five business days of each service, and coordinate with the COR on arrival and completion.
