Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Partnership and Fundraising Services

The City of Raleigh’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is seeking one or more firms to act as a philanthropic partner that will design, lead, and manage ongoing fundraising, grant‑seeking, and community‑outreach initiatives. The partnership will focus on reducing program fee barriers, securing monetary and in‑kind donations, supporting ecological conservation, health‑wellness programs, and expanding community engagement through volunteer and “friends” groups. The selected firm will serve as a fiscal agent, develop and maintain a website and social‑media presence, produce collateral, and help the City meet its strategic goals for equitable access to parks and cultural resources. • Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting individuals, corporations, and grantmakers. • Manage grant applications, donor relationships, and fiscal agency responsibilities. • Design outreach programs to lower fee barriers for children, teens, seniors, and vulnerable populations. • Provide communications support, including website and social‑media management and collateral creation. • Serve as a non‑profit partner for conservation and health‑wellness initiatives, and increase volunteer participation.
