Description:
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide local and long distance telecommunication services for the 145th Airlift Wing in Charlotte, North Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, facilities, materials, and services needed to perform and provide local access to the designated circuit demarcation point(s). The services shall include any equipment, wiring, or infrastructure to ensure the contractor's proposed solution is compatible with the government's current infrastructure without additional government expense. The contractor shall follow all federal communications commission (FCC), public utility commission (PUC), department of defense (DoD), AF, and industry standards for this requirement. Some key features of the services include: * Providing a minimum of 12,000 long distance minutes per month * Including calls within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories * Providing automated notifications or alerts to the government's designated point of contact when the allotted amount of long distance minutes has been utilized * Ensuring 911 calls are routed through their telephone system to ensure compliance with Kari's Law * Providing detailed call records and usage reports on a monthly basis * Maintaining an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within the performance work statement * Coordinating with the government point of contact prior to any installation * Ensuring compliance with all personal identity verification requirements as directed by DoD, HAF, and/or local policy * Obtaining base identification and vehicle passes, if required, for all contractor personnel who make frequent visits to or perform work on the Air Force installation * Submitting a written request on company letterhead to the contracting officer listing the following: contract number, location of work site, start and stop dates, and names of employees and subcontractor employees needing access to the base.
