Facility Management & Concession Operations

The North Smithfield Public Schools is seeking proposals from experienced firms to manage and operate district athletic fields, concession facilities, and related property in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. The selected firm will provide comprehensive facility management and concessions operations, including facility scheduling and rentals, concession operations, event staffing and security, facility maintenance and cleanliness, and insurance and compliance. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option for renewal. The District is looking for a firm that can provide a minimum annual guarantee and revenue-sharing model, as well as in-kind services or community benefits. Some key responsibilities of the selected firm will include: • Managing scheduling for athletic fields and track facilities • Operating concession stands during District events and approved community events • Providing field event stewards and appropriate staffing for non-District events • Maintaining concession, restroom, and field areas in clean condition before/after events • Managing trash and refuse for rental events • Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and permit requirements
