The City of Harrisonburg is seeking a qualified vendor to manage and execute its Transit Vehicle and Bus Shelter Advertising Program for the Harrisonburg Department of Public Transportation. The contractor will be responsible for selling advertising space, designing and producing ad materials, installing and maintaining advertisements on buses and shelters, and providing regular revenue and performance reports. This is a revenue‑generating service that supports the city’s public transit system and enhances community visibility for advertisers. • Manage sales, contracts, and billing for advertising slots on transit vehicles and bus shelters. • Design, produce, and install advertising media in compliance with city specifications and safety standards. • Perform ongoing maintenance, removal, and replacement of ads as needed. • Provide periodic reporting on ad inventory, revenue collected, and performance metrics. • Coordinate with the city’s Public Transportation Director for program oversight and approvals.
