Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to provide a full suite of translation and interpretation services for the Department of Energy Resources. The work includes on‑site, video, and 24/7 phone interpretation across multiple languages, as well as English‑to‑target language document translation. The contractor must be able to respond within 24–48 hours for urgent requests, maintain a live support line, and meet environmental and small‑business preferences.
• On‑site, video, and phone interpretation for languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Russian, and others.
• Translation of complex documents from English into the same target languages.
• Required 24/7 live‑representative phone line and ability to start services within 24–48 hours of request.
• Preference given to Massachusetts‑based small businesses with experience in government and environmental‑justice terminology.
• Contract term of one year with one optional renewal (maximum two years).
