Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to provide 24/7 telephonic and video‑remote interpretation services for a wide range of languages. The contractor must operate a toll‑free line, supply its own equipment/software, and invoice the state on a monthly basis with an annual financial summary. The award will be a fee‑for‑service contract initially for one year, with up to two one‑year renewal options.
• Services include on‑demand and scheduled interpretation in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Mandarin, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Russian, Khmer, Cape‑Verdean Creole, French, Arabic, Korean, plus others as needed.
• Vendor must ensure 24/7 availability, provide a dedicated toll‑free number at no cost to the state, and meet executive‑order environmental‑preference requirements.
• Small‑business preference is given to SBPP‑registered firms, but non‑SBPP firms may be considered if they meet best‑value criteria.
