Description
Ellis County, Kansas is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and recycle a stock‑piled metal pile located at the Ellis County Landfill/Transfer Station. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and cleanup, complete the work within 30 days of a mutually agreed start date, and be licensed and insured in Kansas. Compensation will be based on the weight of metal removed (price per ton to be proposed). Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on 16 Nov 2026; bids will be opened shortly thereafter. The county will evaluate proposals on price, completion schedule, and other relevant factors.
