Tabor Pump Station - Pump and Electrical Improvements

The City of Bryan is seeking a qualified construction firm to design, demolish, and construct upgrades at the Tabor Pump Station, including installation of a new vertical turbine pump, redundant utility service, medium‑voltage switchgear, magnetic flow meters, and associated civil, structural, and instrumentation work. The contractor must provide all permits, bonds, insurance, and O&M manuals, and complete the project within a targeted 450‑working‑day schedule. • Demolition of existing mechanical/electrical equipment • Installation of new vertical turbine pump (Pump No. 8) in existing pit • Redundant primary metered utility service and transformers (4160 V) • New two‑source metal‑clad switchgear, medium‑voltage motor control center, and auxiliary equipment • Four insertion‑type magnetic flow meters in access vaults • Full instrumentation & control (I&C) upgrades, structural & civil improvements • Stormwater, traffic control, and permitting management • Project budget approx. $7.5 M; construction start ≈ Jan 1 2027, completion ≈ June 21 2028.
